Know Jesus, Experience New Life
God loves you, and He wants you to know Him personally.
No matter who you are, what you’ve done, or where you’ve been, God offers you forgiveness, hope, and a new life through Jesus Christ.
Here’s the Good News
1. God loves you.
God created you to know Him and experience His love. He desires a relationship with you.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son...” — John 3:16 (NASB)
The Bad News…
2. Our sin separates us from God.
Every one of us has sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard. Sin separates us from Him, and we cannot save ourselves by being good enough or doing enough good things.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23 (NASB)
Our Hope!
3. Jesus died and rose again for you.
Because of His great love, God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our sin. Jesus died on the cross and rose again, making the way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to God.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 (NASB)
A Gift Beyond Comparison
4. You can receive God's gift of salvation.
Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ—not something we earn. Turn from your sin, place your faith in Jesus, and trust Him as your Lord and Savior.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.” — Ephesians 2:8 (NASB)
How Can I Receive Jesus as My Lord and Savior?
You can call on Jesus today. There is no special formula or perfect set of words you must say. What matters is that you sincerely turn to Him in faith, trusting in His death and resurrection to save you.
If you are ready to put your faith in Jesus, you might pray something like this:
A Prayer of Faith
“God, I know that I have sinned and that I need Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again. I turn away from my sin and place my faith in Jesus. Please forgive me, make me new, and teach me to follow You. Jesus, I trust You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your grace, Your forgiveness, and the new life You give. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
